Energy Efficient Solar Heating Systems
Our solar heating systems have several energy efficient applications. The heat absorbed by these solar heating systems can be used for domestic hot water heating, radiant floor heating, auxiliary heating in forced air systems, or they can provide heating for the whole house without having to use gas furnaces or heat pumps.
How Our Solar Heating Systems Work
The solar heating systems supplied and installed by Geothermal Chattanooga are evacuated tube solar collectors. These solar collectors absorb solar energy and convert it to heat energy that can be used in a normal home. After the water is heated by the collector, it is stored in a tank or tanks near the existing (back up) hot water heater ready to be used to heat your home and your water.
